These are a series of drawings done for the New Nature exhibition at the Alphonse Berber Gallery in Berkeley California. In this show, we focused on how we see and relate to the “natural” world, which is mainly through technology. We produced organic, three dimensional geomerty through a computer program and conveted it into vector lines which then were programmed and output to a CNC machine. We used drawing instruments, [pens and highlight markers] as opposed to cutting tools to produce the finished work.
Materials: MDF, ink, highlite marker, high density urethane 60″ x 50″ x 2″
