Coffee table with lamp and topographic ashtray slash planter designed for the Triumvirate exhibition series at Raid Projects in Los Angeles. The Table was based on a map of Antarctica supported by poodles. The ashtray was milled for Corian solid surface and the lamp was fabricated from a 3 dimensional scan of a kiwano fruit or horned melon. The machined lamp was dipped in tinted silicone RTV mold making material for it’s finish thus giving it a strange, tactile sensibility for when one might have to change the bulb.
