This project was a response to the quality of materials used in the production of Ikeas’ furniture pieces. At first glance , some products seem nice but when once one begins to use them, they just don’t hold up to prolonged use, thus contributing to a disposable lifestyle. This table was taken from the Ikea showroom and stripped. Now, it sports nothing but clear shrink wrap.
