Chandelier Creative Office Concept 2

This proposal was about working within Chandeliers’ pre existing style in order recycle the present furniture in use. We developed a system to re-use the neocolonial work tables at the current office by slicing them up and re-configuring them to form a hybrid station for three people. All desk components [computer, drawer system and storage] are inset into the table. In keeping within the conceptual frame work of “float”, the floor would be painted black and anything that touches it would have a gradient surface treatment [black to the natural material of the object] applied up to 12” from the floor, where the rest of the cabinetry rests. Three tables are joined with a center dividing system where computer monitors are mounted. The cpu mounts underneath the desk hovering just above the floor. A large shade sit a top a pole that provides the electrical power for the station while providing a sense of privacy.
